Generative artificial intelligence is already making a difference in the legal sector.

In recent months, we have seen a growing number of law firms in Latin America starting to incorporate generative AI tools to transform the way they work: from drafting documents, analyzing case law and precedents, to reviewing complex contracts. This is not just an operational improvement. It is a strategic evolution.

Generative AI does not seek to replace the lawyer, but to empower him or her. It allows you to spend more time on the essentials: analysis, legal judgment, client counseling. And although there is still much to explore, the fact is that adoption is no longer optional, it is a competitive decision.

From my experience in managing technology for law firms, I am convinced that:

* The key is not to adopt for fashion, but with purpose.

* It is necessary to accompany technology with policies, ethics and training.

* And that the real value is in how it is integrated with strategy, processes and teams.

📌 The question is no longer whether to implement AI, but how to do it
